Jerusalem Under Fire
A whole mess of tasty new tracks from mr. Mesinai. Very simple rhythms formed from mergers of organic and technologic percussion, lots of Middle-Eastern appeal and some well-placed studio stereo-effecting. All and all, this album has quite a perky little personality. Yes, one'd think from the album title that it shouldn't be happy and all, but you can't judge some things by their cover. Something just generally uplifting about this tuneage. I snatched up the only copy I've seen so far, but ROIR's got a market so it's probably only a special order away.
