Betrayal (Sorcerer Theme)
Sorcerer
This is their first soundtrack, and another one of their finest pieces of work. You've probably noticed by now that these guys did their best and most pioneering work in the mid-70's (in the opinion of your Humble Reviewer). The music is pretty much older electronic instruments and guitar, very dated. There's some wandering synthetic wierdness in here, but I'm become fond of the stable and sturdy sounds and tempos that they've since honed into such a marketable product. All in all, it projects a very serious and foreboding mood, excellent for hiding indoors on sunny days. Had this on vinyl for a small eternity, but it's out on CD now and it's definitely within reach.
