This was the 3rd of three discs that were being offered up at Wall of Sound, and it called out to me with such discretion. Until then, i'd had no recordings in my collection of the freezing of laboratory cultures; now, i know what i was missing all those years. As you may read for yourself, phonography.org is dedicated to the art of field recordings. Seems that many of the phonographers are based in the Pacific Northwest, which brings them even closer to my heart. I'm so very grateful to have quality samples of trains and stairwells, things that so rarely engender the desire for audio capture and distribution. There's contact information on the site, which i'm sure is succeptible to begging and pleading for additional copies.
