There's something strangly intangible about this record, sort of like the feeling of sand leaking out between your fingers. It's got such a peaceful, weepy essence, which is entirely dominated by the sound of a thousand parking brakes being pulled over and over and over again. The song's progression dominates your foreground of thought just enough to not let you lose track of the background. Such a good boy mr. Roden is, giving us such a nice balance of the sweet and of the haunting. As usual, i came across this beauty by accident, so best of luck in tripping over one yourself.
