The delightful Cee-Mix folks were so kind as to mail me a whole mess of their 12"s. A couple Trance ones, a nice Drum'n'Bass piece with some fun vocals (EEG got that one), but this particular Dub-child just slumped head and shoulders below the rest. When I played the vinyl, I couldn't figure out what speed it was at... as it turns out, nearly half the album is intentionally time-stretched like so much warm lemon taffy. The real eye-closers plod deeply along with little regard for the poor, delirious listener. Several up-tempo tracks are thrown in just to skirt around oblivion. Took me a while to get a copy on CD, but it was very well worth the wait... 4 extra pleasantries, including the coupe d'grace.
