A good word to summarize this album would be "perverse". As a whole, the tracks comprise a well-ordered cacophony of devious beats, static and fucked-up verbal samplitude; Trip-Hop surrealism at its finest. It's delightfully twisted, to be sure, but all the listener really gets is a serious whiff of the unfettered agression bubbling beneath the surface. As you can see, the cover art would have us believe that it is a travelogue of some sort, and i can't state with certainty that it isn't. However, if this is indeed a cognitive map to some far-off place, the journey would best be travelled in a protective foam jumpsuit. Some conservative collective is certain to ban & burn it soon, so filch your copy as soon as inhumanly possible.
