The liner notes describe this recording as a tribute to the icy rock that is Antarctica (though how this jibes with his referential track name i don't quite know). The music is slow and rippled, a wavy texture that stretches as far as the ear can see. I must say that the frquencies used are warmer than would be literally appropriate, but they make for a much more tender and loving experience than the reality of a vast white plain ravaged by blinding sun and wind.
