My friend Leah warned me about this album, and it took a few months for me to land a copy of my own. Extremely worth the wait; I like some of the band's newer, more Jazzy pop-oriented music, but this stuff is just double ducky. In a nutshell, they've taken all the great lounge formats of the 70s and worked them to perfection. Very pretty, dreamy, well suited to the morning subway commute and intimate brunches. In fact, if you've got a copy of this album, there's no point in leaving the house at all. It's still a Japanese import, so unfortunately you'll have to leave the house to get it in the first place. But after that...
