Aerial Boundaries
I originally picked up this album on vinyl back in the mid-80s, probably not long after it was released, back when Windham Hill was still getting its sea-legs. There's something strong and precise about about mr. Hedges' control of his guitar that I don't have the words to describe. He's got a very established rep within the genre, which has become legend since his unfortunate passing. Very evocative, powerful and subtle all at once. It's hard for me to put words to what his music emotes, but it is simply warm and wonderful. The album has a very strong character, and is definitely for listening more than sleeping. I'll leave the rest up to you, the discerning listener, to judge.
